Students need to report to Western Michigan University, Miller Auditorium in Kalamazoo no later than 3:00 pm. This will provide time to put on your cap and gown, line up and hear the instructions regarding the ceremony.
A Sign Language interpreter will be located at the right of the stage from the audience perspective.
No tickets are required for seating of friends and/or relatives
Cap, gowns, tassels should be purchased through the College Bookstore
at a cost of $33.92 including tax. Orders will be taken outside the
Bookstore Room 1100.

11:00 am - 4:30 pm
The fee will be payable at the time you place your order. After Wednesday, April 15, 2015 the purchase price will be $n/a.
If you are a member of Phi Theta Kappa organization, you will be able to purchase your tassel and stole from the Bookstore. The cost of the tassel is $13.78, $31.80 for the stole and $21.20 for the cord.
If you are graduating "With honors" (3.5 or higher cumulative G.P.A.) you will receive a white cord at the ceremony to be worn with your cap and gown. The G.P.A. will not include your grades for the current semester.
Ample parking at Western Michigan University is available free of charge.
Your official diploma will be sent to you after the final audits have been completed to the address you have on file with the Admissions, Records and Registration Office, Room 9140.
Diplomas will be ready for distribution July 2015.
Note: Kalamazoo valley Community College holds two commencement ceremonies each year. All August graduates are invited to the December ceremony.
